ZF 8 speed in my 535i is doing that weird lag thing when cold, found a place in Sharjah but I'm not sure about leaving the car up there

So I've been nursing my 2014 BMW 535i for about two years now and it's been pretty solid except for this one thing that's been slowly getting worse where the transmission just kind of hesitates and then clunks into gear when I'm pulling out of my parking spot in the morning, but then after about fifteen minutes of driving it smooths out completely and shifts like butter for the rest of the day which makes me think it's something to do with the valve body seals getting hard and leaking pressure until the fluid warms up and expands, you know typical ZF 8HP stuff that everyone on the forums talks about. I took it to a BMW specialist in Dubai who ran ISTA and said there were no codes stored but the fill pressure adaptation values were "elevated" and he recommended a full mechatronic replacement with a quote that made me laugh nervously and then immediately start googling alternatives, and that's how I ended up on this site https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/bmw/ at like one in the morning while my wife was sleeping next to me and honestly it looked like they actually rebuild these things instead of just throwing new parts at the problem which is exactly what I need because I'm not trying to spend half the car's value on a brand new mechatronic unit when the rest of the gearbox is probably fine. My only hesitation is I live in Sharjah already so the location is actually convenient for me but I've driven past that industrial area a hundred times and some of the workshops back there look like they haven't seen a broom since 2007 so I'm just wondering if anyone has actually been to this specific place and can tell me whether they're one of those hidden gems with proper diagnostic equipment and clean work benches or if I'm going to show up and find my transmission in pieces on a dirty floor next to a guy's lunch. The lag is annoying but the car drives fine otherwise and I'd rather live with it than end up with a botched repair that makes everything worse, so any firsthand experiences would be massively appreciated before I commit to dropping the car off.
